The Sheridan Memorial Hospital Board of Trustees approved $2.9 million to go toward the construction of a cardiac catheterization lab at the hospital. The cath lab will be located on the first floor of the hospital's east side near the Emergency Room.
Hospital CEO Mike McCafferty tells us.
McCafferty says that adding this type of technology to Sheridan wouldn't have been possible a decade ago.
Hospital Facilities Manager Rob Forister stated that the project could be completed as early as April of next year if they choose to go with a design build plan or sometime mid-summer if they opt to go with a traditional build plan.
