The Sheridan Memorial Hospital Board of Trustees approved the purchase of a CT scanner and MRI in the amount of $1 million. Hospital CEO Mike McCafferty explains that the equipment isn't necessarily new.
While neither piece of equipment was a budgeted capital item for the fiscal year, McCafferty states that both units were something that the Hospital sorely needed.
McCafferty also said that Dr. Stears has agreed to donate various pieces of equipment from his practice to the Hospital.
