Hospital Board Acknowledges Marked Improvement In the Account Receivable Department

The Sheridan Memorial Hospital Board of Trustees held their monthly meeting Wednesday. Sheridan Media's Ron Richter was there.

Just about two years ago the accounts receivable department at the hospital was an area that needed some improvement. Since that time there has been a dramatic turnaround. Hospital CFO Ed Johlman says a lot of people deserve credit for the change.

Johlman points out that the numbers indicate that Sheridan Memorial is at the top of their game.

Other business, the board approved the purchase of a chemistry analyzer in the amount of $206 thousand, and allocated $10 thousand to Forward Sheridan. The board has contributed that amount to Forward Sheridan the past several years.
