It was the best of three-on-three basketball over the weekend as Sheridan once again hosted the 13th annual Hoop Jam Street Basketball Tournament. Attendance was up from last year as 148 teams, 3rd grade through adult, played on 18 courts in the Whitney Plaza in downtown Sheridan.
After a full week of rain, Hoop Jam Coordinator Amanda Monterastelli says they were relieved to see the sun shine on Saturday.
It was a weekend of fun, family entertainment. Jill Hutton has been to Hoop Jam the last four years watching her twin daughters play. A Hoop Jam mom watches out for her kids making sure they get to the court on time, but more than that she watches her kids grow.
Teams from across the state and North Dakota and Montana came to play in the tournament.
