CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - Honor Flight Wyoming has received a $20,000 donation from oil and gas industry operators to help send World War II veterans to Washington, D.C. Devon Energy and QEP Resources each pledged $10,000 for the effort.

The non-profit Honor Flight Wyoming takes veterans to visit the World War II memorial in Washington free of charge. The trip costs about $1,100 per person. The fourth and most recent Honor Flight departed from Casper in September.

Donations to Honor Flight Wyoming pay for transportation, meals and mobility for Wyoming's veterans.
