The Trail End Guilds has once again transformed the Trail End State Historic Site to reflect the season, as the annual Holiday Open House will take place this Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The museum will be open as usual this weekend, with self-guided tours beginning at 1 o'clock in the afternoon, however, the Christmas themed festivities will begin each day at 4 and run through 7. Site Superintendent Cynde Georgen.

There will be a full lineup of special musical guests each day along with hot spiced cider and figgy pudding being served up in the historic kitchen and butler's pantry. Georgen explains just what the famous Trail End's figgy pudding consists of.

Father Christmas will also be on hand each day to meet with children of all ages. Admission to the Holiday Open House is $2 for adults. Children seventeen and under will be admitted at no charge, but must be accompanied by an adult. Click here to view a full list and schedule of the open house events.
