The Sheridan Community Land Trust has secured the green light to develop the Northern Sheridan Historic Mine Byway through the State of Wyoming.

Earlier in May, we reported that the Sheridan Community Land Trust had applied to have established a Historic Mine Byway in northern Sheridan County.

As a guest on the May 31st edition of Public Pulse, SCLT's Executive Director informed listeners the status of the application.

Betzler says that currently, there are only two such designations in Wyoming, and the addition of this interpretive byway in Sheridan County will enhance the learning opportunities for students and history buffs alike.

On another note, the SCLT is partnering with the Sheridan Surgical Center to bring the Sheridan Community the movie “180 Degrees South” on Wednesday, June 8th at the WYO Theatre. Betzler elaborates.

The film begins at 7 pm, is free of charge and open to everyone.
