The Sheridan Educational and Economic Development Authority Joint Powers Board held their monthly meeting Tuesday. Sheridan Media's Ron Richter was there and has this report.

The Sheridan City Council recently awarded the bid for the landscaping project at the High-Tech Business Park in north Sheridan. The grant that the city received from the Wyoming Business Council in 2011 paid for infrastructure and landscaping at the park. Since all of the projects came in under estimate, there is approximately $45,000 left from the grant that can be used within the business park.

City Project Manager Joe Schoen presented the Sheridan Economic and Educational Development Authority Joint Powers Board with a list of smaller projects that the leftover funds can be used for.

The board gave their approval to have Schoen move forward with adding the items to the landscaping project via a change order.
