Bighorn National Forest officials have announced that conditions on the mountain have reached the point of a high fire danger. BHNF Fire Management Office Jon Warder says that even with the high amount of precipitation we received this spring, things are starting to dry out.
Leaving a campfire unattended or even smoldering can result in a $150 fine said Warder, and that even leaving the area for a short time has the potential to lead to a disaster.
