Every Saturday through April, Landon’s Greenhouse is presenting two workshops on a variety of topics for gardening and flower enthusiasts.
Growing and using herbs was the topic of the afternoon and Janelle Gray, owner of Landon’s, says there is a lot of interest in herbs in Sheridan.
Versatile, herbs are relatively easy to grow with a minimum of care and a multitude of uses. Courtney Caplan of Story is a big proponent of growing your own herbs. Growing herbs for over 30 years, she shared her experiences in growing and using herbs.
There's a couple of other benefits that many of us will like.
Participants were treated to freshly brewed herbal tea and fresh, hot off the grill, roasted asparagus accompanied by a horseradish sauce.
