Two national art exhibitions will open in Sheridan next week. “Scenes in the City”, sponsored by the City of Sheridan and the Sheridan Artists' Guild will open Tuesday, September 2 at the SAGE Main Street Gallery, at 171 Main Street in Sheridan.

A researcher with the University of Wyoming has received a nearly $3 million grant to study water sustainability and land-use management in the Panama Canal watershed. Fred Ogden is a distinguished professor in the Department of Civil and Architectural Engineering.
