The consultant that was hired by the Sheridan Economic Educational and Development Authority to work on phase one of the career and technical education training study, has been finishing up that first phase with interviews in Sheridan this week.

Sheridan College announced Tuesday that the school's construction technology department recently received a grant of $1,200 and that the funds have already been put to good use. The extra funding for the department came through an opportunity grant from the Sheridan College Foundation.
