Antique Fair Comes To Buffalo This Weekend

A three-day antique fair will be happening this weekend at the Johnson County Fairgrounds in Buffalo.

It will begin Friday evening from 5:30 to 7:30, continue Saturday from 10am to 5pm and wrap up Sunday from 10am to 2pm.

County Help Sought For Kitchen Remodel

Dave Simonsen, Director of the Kaycee/Buffalo/Johnson County Economic Development Joint Powers Board (KBJ/JPB), approached the Johnson County Commissioners for help in funding a needed remodel to the kitchen at the old Clear Creek School Building.

City Approves Request For BHS Homecoming Parade

Buffalo High School Student Council President Matt Scarlett brought a request before the city council at their Tuesday meeting to allow the school to have a Homecoming Parade on Main Street later this month.

Buffalo Oktoberfest Coming Up Saturday

The Fifth Annual Oktoberfest is coming up this Saturday in Buffalo. Executive Director Angela Jarvis said the event, which will be held in Crazy Woman Square in downtown Buffalo from noon until 6 in the evening--has attracted local and out-of-state brewers.

Forest Officials Announce Billy Creek Field Trip

Officials with the Powder River Ranger District of the Bighorn National Forest are hosting a public field trip on Oct. 2 to discuss a proposed timber sale in the Billy Creek area, located in the southeast corner of the forest.

A chef's throw-down, the likes of the TV show “Chopped” kicks off today's farmer's market in Sheridan. Market Manager Bonnie Gregory said the chefs will all be given a mystery meat to come up with a dish within a time limit.
