Saturday a workshop was held focusing on using yoga to help treat depression. Held on the top floor to the old Taylor School, Teddy Araas gives us a quick overview of what yoga is.
Taught by JJ Gormley from Florida, yoga helps people to find and understand themselves, bringing balance to the body and calm to the mind. Yoga can help folks struggling with the many kinds of depression as Araas explains.
Twenty folks participated in the seminar. In June, Gormly who has taught yoga since 1989 will be back with another seminar, this time, focusing on using yoga to help with back pain.
