A bill that's moved on to the full Senate for consideration in Cheyenne would increase the penalty on DUI offenders in the State of Wyoming. Sheridan Representative Rosie Berger.
The State Department of Health Budget allocates $500 million in the biennium for mental health/substance abuse treatment. She says they're working to make sure the state is getting what it's paying for in $250 million a year.
The remaining $500 million of the biennial $1 billion state health budget is split equally between medicaid waivers and developmental disability waivers. If approved, the law would go into effect July 1 of this year.
