A joint project between two student organizations at Sheridan College will help a future Habitat for Humanity homeowner. The Habitat Sheridan College Campus Chapter and the college Construction Technology Class worked all day Friday to construct a storage shed to benefit an upcoming Habitat homeowner in the Poplar Grove Subdivision.
Built on the college campus, 8 students worked together on the project, but more than a completed shed, Josh Michelena, the construction technology professor said that the joint effort will help students with team building and problem solving when they get out in the work force while working with other people.
