Hallmark Building Could Be Home For Performing Arts Students

Sheridan College Board of Trustee's approved an updated master plan for the college this week. The top priority is to seek funding to expand classroom space and other student learning areas. However, the plan also emphasizes long-term general goals, such as the need to capitalize and expand certain programs, including the nursing and culinary arts programs. Promoting the visual and performing arts is another piece of their growth strategy. Chief Financial Officer Cheryl Heath says this may eventually include some more movement to downtown Sheridan.

Ultimately, the entire Sheridan College performing arts department could be moved to the Hallmark building, located in downtown Sheridan.
