The Sheridan Habitat for Humanity organization has a busy fall in store. There are four units in three buildings under construction. Today there is a free concert in Kendrick Park to help garner donations for the group. Habitat Executive Director Jessica Lindsley says donations are appreciated.
For those who need more exercise, Lindsley says that volunteering labor to build the homes under construction is one option. Another is next month’s Wolf Creek Wrangle at Eaton’s Ranch.
The Re-Store facility in Sheridan is also run by Habitat for Humanity. They will have a special event this Saturday. Everything in the store will be half price from 9AM to 4PM.
