This month's Science Saturday was all about water. Water may seem pretty ordinary, but not to these kids.
Children of all ages, along with their parents, checked out the different stations in the Mohn's Science Center at Sheridan College that demonstrated the different properties of water through fun activities like racing cardboard boats, counting water droplets, and floating paper clips.
Art Orr helped coordinate the activities and says there's lots of benefits to letting kids explore.
Christi McGill was thrilled to watch her two kid's excitement.
Coordinator Sarah Mentock believes Science Saturdays keeps kids involved in science when science doesn't seem to be a priority in our schools.
Science Saturdays are held the first Saturday of every month.
