Throughout the week we've been doing a series of stories in response to Republican Gubernatorial Candidate Ron Micheli's criticisms of the budget increases incurred while Governor Dave Freudenthal has been in office. In previous stories, we heard from Candidates Micheli and Rita Meyer, today, we'll get Candidate Matt Mead's take on the issue.
Mead says that the State has grown considerably in the private sector over the time Freudenthal has been Governor, and that the spending correlates with the boom years that Wyoming experienced.
Mead states that as revenues decline, it's imperative that the State Government budget accordingly.
Be sure to join us tomorrow, where we'll finish up our series with Colin Simpson's response to State spending throughout the Freudenthal years.
