The Northeast Wyoming Sage-grouse Working Group will meet Friday morning at the Buffalo Bureau of Land Management office in Buffalo.
The meeting is scheduled to start at 9:30. The land management office is in the 1400 block of Fort Street. The meeting is open to the public.
The working group is made up of 12 people representing organizations interested in sage-grouse conservation. Information specialist Bud Stewart of the Wyoming Game and Fish office said the role of the group is to develop and set in motion a local conservation plan to benefit sage-grouse and, where feasible, other species that use sage-grouse habitat.
