The groundbreaking for the Green House for Living in Sheridan facility was held Tuesday afternoon. While the temperatures may have been close to freezing outside, the hearts and minds of those in attendance were certainly warm with excitement, as Green House President Doug Osborn explains.

Green House Living for Sheridan is based on a concept by Geriatrician Dr. Bill Thomas that offers a more home-like atmosphere to seniors than the traditional nursing home setting.

The first phase of the project consists of four homes that will house 12 elders each on a little over two acres of land located at the Village at Cloud Peak Ranch in northwest Sheridan.
