Sunday was the grand opening celebration for Green House Living for Sheridan, a first of its kind facility in the nation for elder care.
Hundreds came out to tour one of the cottages which will be home to twelve residents who will receive a full range of personal care and clinical services by the twelve staff on hand at each home.
Board member Les Engelter explains the concept of Green House living.
Engelter tells us the emphasis on Green House Living is on life and living life to its fullest for our elderly.
The homes are located at the Cloud Peak Ranch near Sheridan High School. Dan Goodenough had his reason to take a look at the new facility.
Nita McCarn brought her mother to view the cottage.
Green House Living for Sheridan is dedicated to “creating loving homes where elders continue to live fulfilling lives supported by quality care, choice, and positive relationships.” For more information call 672-0600.
