The Ag Department at Sheridan College has teamed up with the Padlock Ranch to host a 1½-day seminar later this month.
Open to the public, the seminar and workshop is designed to assist agriculture producers with improving the management of their grazing pastures and rangelands.
Keith Klement is Director of the Ag Department at Sheridan College. He tells us who would most benefit from attending.
Focusing on sustainable ranching and resource management, Klement says they are excited to have noted speaker Jim Gerrish of American Grazinglands Services, LLC. Klement tells us more about him.
Everything gets underway on Friday afternoon, May 20th at 12:30 at the Watt Ag Center. The itinerary for this portion of the seminar will be an all-lecture series.
Then on Saturday, May 21st, attendees will spend the day at the Padlock Ranch in Dayton.
Cost is $25 for both days, $10 for Friday only or $20 for Saturday only. Lunch will be provided on Saturday, and Klement says they need reservations by Friday, May 13th in order to know how many lunches to prepare.
