Fun for all ages awaits at the first-ever Grassroots Festival and Crafts Show, July 24th at the Big Horn Equestrian Center.

Always ones to be looking for innovative ways to use their facility, the Big Horn Equestrian Center invites the public to an event they'll be co-hosting with The Evening Stage. Center Executive Director Leslie Olsen tells us about the Grassroots Festival, to be held Saturday, July 24th beginning at 1 pm.

With fun for the whole family, Leslie describes what attendees can expect to enjoy at the Equestrian Center this weekend.

Olsen adds that this event will be rain or shine, as they will have a big white tent to keep folks dry. Cost for the event is $10 for people age 12 and over. Children age 12 and under are admitted at no charge.

And if you are a vendor who might have wares to fit the environment of the Grassroots Festival, Leslie says to give her a call by Thursday, July 22nd at (307) 673-0454 or visit http://www.thebhec.org for more information.

The Grassroots Festival is supported in part by a grant from the Wyoming Arts Council, through funding from the Wyoming State Legislature and the National Endowment for the Arts.
