Governor Matt Mead's 2nd annual Business Forum got underway Tuesday at Little America in Cheyenne. The forum is an opportunity to highlight successful businesses in the state and to bring together leaders to discuss job creation and expansion of the the economy. Governor Mead opened the forum by talking about how economic development has become a priority in Wyoming.
Historian David McCullough delivered the keynote speech, saying that he's optimistic about the future of the country. He stressed the importance of education and urged continued emphasis on teaching children history and the humanities. The Governor's Business Forum will continue through Wednesday.
