Citing newly enacted gun laws, Magpul Industries, one of the country's biggest gun magazine producers, has announced that they are leaving Colorado and moving their manufacturing, distribution and operations to Cheyenne. The company plans to move its headquarters to a not yet disclosed location in Texas.

Governor Matt Mead says that the move will help the state expand and diversify its economy.

Magpul will lease a 58,000 sqare foot manufacturing and distribution facility while the construction of a new 100,000 plus square foot build-to-suit facility is completed in the Cheyenne Business Parkway.
