Wyoming Governor Matt Mead recently returned from a week-long trip to the Middle East, where he met with foreign officials interested in research done by the University of Wyoming.
Specifically, Governor Mead, UW officials and members of the state's energy task force met with executives from the Saudi Arabian Oil Company, Saudi Aramco, and the King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals. Mead explains.
He says Saudi Aramco and university officials there are particularly interested in research being done here in Wyoming.
Before his trip, the details surrounding the visit were vague and the governor's office cited security concerns as the reason for the secrecy.
