Wyoming Governor Matt Mead praised Thursday's decision by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to dismiss Fort Collins businessman Aaron Million's proposal to build the Flaming Gorge Pipeline.
Million proposed to build a pipeline to carry water from southwestern Wyoming to Colorado's Front Range that would have drawn up to 250,000 acre-feet a year of water from Flaming Gorge Reservoir. Million has already stated that he plans to resubmit the application in a couple of weeks.
