With a possible Government shutdown looming, VA Medical Centers will remain open.

The Veterans Administration Medical Center in Sheridan announced Friday that all VA Medical Centers and Clinics would not have been affected by the potential government shut down.

Sheridan VAMC Public Affairs Specialist Jackie Van Mark explains.

Van Mark said that veterans wouldn't have noticed any difference in their health care if there would have been a Government shutdown.

Lawmakers passed a last minute budget deal late Friday to keep the Government funded through the mid part of next week. A permanent measure is expected to be enacted by that time.
