Wyoming's Department of Workforce Services issued a notice Friday that the vocational rehabilitation division has cut services due to the federal government shutdown.
Director Joan Evans said the voc-rehab offices will be open, but hours will be limited. She said the agency has no other choice, because the majority of the department's funding comes from the federal government.
She suggests that anyone needing services check with their community vocational rehabilitation office to determine open hours.
In Sheridan, the vocation rehabilitation office can be found at the Workforce Center located at 61 South Gould Street.
The voc-rehab outreach center in Buffalo is in the Chamber of Commerce office on 55 South Main Street.
