Governor Matt Mead announced Tuesday he's seeking input on the Cowboy State's energy strategy going forward. Mead said he hopes the strategy will show Wyoming is an innovator in developing energy and regulating its development.
Mead said he would like to see a plan that incorporates protecting the environment with creating and protecting jobs - all while securing the future through economic progress. He called for a mulch-faceted approach to both preserving the state's open space and wildlife while developing our natural resources in a responsible manner.
Mead's energy strategy is in the process of being continually updated with new initiatives. To submit your comments, visit www.governor.wy.gov and click "Wyoming Energy Plan." Just be sure to do submit your input before November 27.
