Governor Mead furthered his office's connection with the UW School of Energy Resources Monday by appointing Rob Hurless to his energy policy staff.
In a release from his office Monday, Mead praised SER's past ability to collaborate private industry, the University of Wyoming and the State. Hurless will continue his current role at UW, and Mead added that this will strengthen the partnership in keeping the focus on energy at UW and creating energy jobs.
Hurless will work with Shawn Reese, Mead's policy director, who will continue to work on energy. Mead said in the release that the two will help an effort from his office to support the state's greatest revenue source.
