Polo enthusiasts will have an opportunity to watch some of the highest rated polo horses and players - and support Goose Creek restoration efforts - at the Flying H Polo Club in Big Horn this weekend.
The Goose Creek High Goal Polo Cup takes place Sunday afternoon, as the Downtown Sheridan Association teams up with the Flying H Polo Club and the Skey Johnson Family for the event. DSA executive director, Stacie Coe.
Project Manager for the DSA, Bonnie Gregory, says there is an opportunity to get a VIP experience, but they're going quickly.
All proceeds benefit the DSA's efforts to restore and revitalize Goose Creek. Gregory says they're received $200,000 for improvements so far and they've already finished the first two phases of the project.
There will also be a foot race and other kid friendly activities. The Goose Creek Polo Cup takes place Sunday at the Flying H Polo Club in Big Horn. Gates will open at 2:30 for sponsors, and 3:00 for the general public. The cost is $10 per car load.
