The Sheridan Media Benefit Golf Tournament raised $14,000 for public art in Sheridan.

The annual Sheridan Media Benefit Golf Tournament is held in conjunction with Celebrate the Arts every year, and the proceeds of the event help provide public art throughout Sheridan. Despite the not so pleasant weather last Friday, the golf tournament raised over $14,000, which is the most ever raised says Sheridan Public Arts Committee Chair Fachon Wilson.

Wilson said that Celebrate the Arts this year was a roaring success, in particular the kick-off event that was host to 14 of the 20 artists who have their work on display in Sheridan.
