GILLETTE, Wyo. (AP) - A Gillette man says he will attempt to break the world record for the most body piercings in one session. Ed Bruns already has 15 piercings, but on Sunday will try for 2,000 piercings in two hours. He's trying to break a record of 1,197 piercings in a single five-hour session.
The 46-year-old's attempt is scheduled to take place Sunday afternoon at Pain for Sale, a tattoo and piercing shop in Gillette. Bruns says pain doesn't bother him. He says he'll endure the pain by keeping distracted. But Jeff Jones, owner of Pain for Sale, says the piercing session could send Bruns into shock, which would end the attempt.
