Gillette Man Dies After One-Vehicle Rollover in Sheridan County

A 35-year-old Gillette man died in a one-vehicle rollover Sunday night in Sheridan County, according to the Wyoming Highway Patrol.

A media release from the WHP states that Race E. McCluskey was 5 miles east of Sheridan on U.S. 87, driving northbound in a 1995 Saturn SL4 at the time of the incident. While attempting to negotiate a curve in the road McCluskey's vehicle went off the road where it rolled an undetermined number of times and went over the right-of-way fence.

The crash wasn't found until the next morning at sunrise, and troopers believe the it took place sometime between 10 pm and midnight. McCluskey was not wearing a seatbelt and died at the scene.
