The Wyoming Game and Fish will be hosting the final meeting regarding the fall hunting regulations for the Sheridan region this Wednesday night. Last week there were open houses held in Sheridan, Gillette and Buffalo to take public comments on the proposals. G&F Information Specialist Warren Mischke.
There aren't any major changes being proposed for the Sheridan area; however, pronghorn antelope and mule deer numbers have not recovered from last year's harsh winter in parts of Campbell and Crook counties, meaning that more conservative seasons are being proposed for that area.
The Wyoming Game and Fish Commission will meet in late April to review the proposals and written comments before setting the regulations for the fall hunting season. Wednesday's meeting will take place at the Sheridan College CTEL at 7 pm.
