Cub Scouts from Johnson and Sheridan Counties showed up Saturday at the Hammer Chevrolet Showroom with their Pinewood Derby cars ready to race in the annual event.
Building their race cars from a block of wood, these boys were ready to race. Enoch Lick took first place with a car his uncle helped him build.
Paul Dickinson, a leader from Pack 385 says the Pinewood Derby is more than racing cars.
Michelle Smith was there rooting for her son Ben. She says there's a plan to building a Pinewood Derby car.
