Coming up Wednesday, April 4, the University of Wyoming's Johnson County Extension Office will present a Garden Workshop for green thumbs in the area to learn more about gardening.
Scott Hininger, University of Wyoming Extension Educator from Sheridan, will give methods for extending the growing season in Wyoming and how to deal with late spring and early fall freezes.
Jeff Edwards, UW Extension Educator from Torrington, will present information on high tunnels, why gardeners might need or want one and how they have been used in different areas around the state.
Blaine Horn, Range and Forage Educator for Northeast Wyoming, tells us more about the workshop and what will be presented.
The workshop will be Wednesday, April 4 at 6pm in the Community Building at the Johnson County Fairgrounds. It is free and open to the public.
