The Wyoming Game and Fish Department sponsors free informational seminars annually that teach residents safety measures while living around large predators.

Like most animals, bears and lions are attracted to a food source, which means one simple thing says Game and Fish Information Specialist Warren Mischke.

Mischke points out that even if you are unable to attend the upcoming seminar, officials at the Game and Fish Sheridan office are more than happy to help out.

The Staying Safe in Bear, Lion and Wolf Country seminar will be Wednesday, March 2nd from 6 to 9 pm at the Tongue River Valley Community Center in Dayton.

Mischke said that they would appreciate if people could pre-register by calling the Sheridan Regional Office 307-672-7418.
