The Wyoming Game and Fish Commission will be meeting in Casper on April 25 and 26 to set next fall's hunting seasons for big game animals. The commission will establish license quotas and season specifics for many species, including wild bison.
The commission will also set seasons for early migratory and upland birds, small game animals and wild turkey for hunts during the fall of 2013 and spring of 2014. Additionally, the body will hear an update on fishing regulations for 2014 through 2015 and the results of various game animal studies, from mule deer to elk.
The open meeting is set to begin at 8 a.m. on April 25 at the Wyoming Oil and Gas Conservation Commission Building in Casper. A complete agenda can be found online at: wgfd.wyo.gov.
