Fundraising efforts to keep the Historic Sheridan Inn locally owned and operated continue. Sheridan Heritage Center President Jake Brooks says that they've had a pretty good summer raising funds.
Brooks says that although the last few months have been fairly lucrative regarding fundraising, they still have a long way to go before that January deadline.
Brooks explains that they will continue to look for ways to come up with the needed funds.
The Sheridan Heritage Center needs to raise a little over $100,000 by January in order to make the mortgage payment. If you'd like to donate to the Inn, you can do so by logging on to their website.
