The Buffalo Chamber of Commerce's annual Winter Gathering fundraiser was Saturday, and was again bigger than last year, fun, and successful, according to Chamber Director Angela Jarvis.
More than 160 people attended this year's “Mardi Gras”-themed fundraiser, which is more than in previous years, she said.
Jarvis said the Winter Gathering is the Chamber's major fundraiser for the year, and the money raised is put back into the community through the Chamber's numerous events throughout the year, such as the Christmas Chili Feed and Oktoberfest among many others.
This year's big winners were Joey and Martha Killian whose names were drawn for a trip for two to New Orleans. Many other prizes were awarded throughout the night.
Catering was provided by Up In Smoke and wines for the wine pairing were provided by 3 Horse Ranch Vineyards in Idaho.
Although the next Winter Gathering 2014 is still a year away, planning has already begun.
