Community support for the Fulmer Public Library has helped it reach a significant goal. Sheridan Media's Chris Foy has the story.
The Fulmer Public Library has reached their goal of raising $343,000 - to soon be matched in part by a state endowment. Library director, Cameron Duff.
In 2008, the Wyoming state legislature backed a matching endowment for all public libraries across the state. Duff explains.
Duff says Governor Matt Mead added an extra amount to the supplemental budget to go towards the state library system. If approved, it would provide libraries that raise enough money an endowment from the state.
He says the goal of the endowment process was to allow libraries across the state to create a fund and invest for the future - and that he's grateful for the support from the community.
