CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - Outgoing Wyoming Governor Dave Freudenthal will take a job at the University of Wyoming starting next month. UW spokeswoman Jessica Lowell says Freudenthal has agreed to work as distinguished visiting professor for the next three semesters. Lowell says Freudenthal will teach a seminar at the law school and work on special projects.
UW President Tom Buchanan says Freudenthal's decision to teach at UW offers students a tremendous opportunity to learn firsthand from the state's top executive. Buchanan praised Freudenthal's extensive knowledge of Wyoming. Freudenthal is a graduate of UW law school and served as U.S. Attorney for Wyoming before serving as Governor. Lowell says Freudenthal will be paid $150,000 a year at UW.
