Prescribed burns are currently taking place around the French Creek cow camp. Mark Booth, District Ranger for the Powder River District for the Bighorn National Forest
Mark says that although they usually give more notice to the public about these burns
He adds that despite the unexpected timing, the burning is going as planned
The French Creek cow camps are located west of Buffalo.
