The City of Sheridan has announced that in an effort to help keep the community clean and beautiful, they are offering two free weekends at the City Landfill. Administrative Assistant Darla Franklin gives us the details.
Franklin added that household hazardous waste will be included in the free landfill weekends for the first time ever. The free weekends are a prelude to the annual Trees for Trash, which is scheduled for Saturday, May 19th. We'll have more on this year's Trees for Trash as we get closer to that date. Once again, this weekend and next, from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, city and county residents will be able bring up to one ton of trash to the landfill free of charge.
