Sheridan's very young population is growing, as evidenced by record high numbers of kindergarten enrollment in the public school system. Those kindergarteners have parents who need jobs, and Jay Stender, with Forward Sheridan, says most jobs in the area will have to come from small businesses.
Stender said recent examples of these types of jobs include L&H Industrial, Vacutech and Telemed.
