Former deputy charged with felony voyeurism

CASPER, Wyo. (AP) - A former Natrona County reserve deputy who police say set up secret recording devices and videotaped couples having sex in an Evansville home has been charged with seven felonies.
Sixty-five-year-old Alan Brooks of Casper was charged Friday in Natrona County District Court with one count of intercepting electronic communications and six counts of voyeurism. Police say Brooks was the manager or landlord of the property and spent the past four years videotaping its residents.
Police say the home contained multiple hidden cameras and recording devices, and that police confiscated hundreds of incriminating recordings. Police began their investigation in December after a young couple in the house reported finding holes drilled in the ceiling and recording equipment in the attic. Police say a confiscated DVD showed two other couples who previously lived in the home engaged in sexual activity.
